Project Description:

Thomas & Hutton provides consulting services for Parker’s Convenience stores beginning with site feasibility and not ending until the store is open for business.  Parker’s is a rapidly growing business and they are constantly looking to new geographical regions for expansion.

The process begins with master planning.  Parker’s currently has five different store prototypes.  We provide master planning services to depict how various layouts fit within the given site based upon local zoning and site development requirements.  Many sites may require acquisition of additional land and/or subdividing of parcels for future development or sell.  In some cases, rezoning or annexation services may be required to make a particular site better suited for development.

We provide general consulting, survey, design, permitting and construction administration services in house.  Thomas & Hutton is also responsible for coordinating tasks among various professionals throughout the development process including geotechnical, architectural, contractor, landscaping, lighting, signage, underground storage tank and utility providers.  Many sites were previously developed, making it a challenge to determine existing utility routing and develop final service strategies.  We work closely with Parker’s legal counsel to ensure contract deadlines and obligations are fulfilled.
