Project Description:

Thomas & Hutton was hired by Bryan County to perform engineering and design services for the South Bryan County Water and Sewer System.

The water and sewer improvements were designed to serve the middle school at Warren Hill Road, and additional sewer improvements were designed to serve the County Complex site at Highway 144 and Spur 144.

Thomas & Hutton designed a 500 gpm pump station (with capacity for 1,200 gpm) on the school site, a 10-inch diameter force main approximately 21,000 linear feet from the school along Belfast Keller Road to a second pump station (700 gpm with capacity for 1,500 gpm), and a 12-inch diameter force main approximately 29,000 linear feet from the second pump station along a private easement to the existing Genesis Point Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Thomas & Hutton’s responsibilities included surveying, wastewater design and specifications, permitting, bid phase assistance, and construction services for the water and sewer improvements.
