Shout-out to Perry Gerard, Nat Hopper, Tim Benson, and Elliotte Quinn from our Survey Department, who dedicated their time and talents to hosting T&H’s second Surveying Merit Badge class for Coastal Carolina Council, BSA! Twenty students attended the class and completed their Survey Merit Badge from four Charleston-area Boy Scouts of America Troops. With this class complete, 35 local scouts earned their Survey Merit Badge, a new record for this group of troops!
Thank you all, and to Ryan Giles (Troop 15 Leader and Assistant Principal for Moultrie Middle School) for allowing us to use the Moultrie Middle’s athletic field as our mock survey site and Richard Beasley (Charleston County GIS) for their support!
