Thomas & Hutton invests in the long-term success of our people. We offer ongoing professional development and in-house training to ensure new employees understand the design process and professional development for employees of all experience levels.
Up & Ready is a training program developed to familiarize employees with company standard plan production and design processes and procedures. The program is customizable and scalable depending on skill set and experience level.
T&H University is an internal technical and professional development program aimed at providing the tools necessary for each employee to continually enhance their skills and abilities. We provide resources for learning such as group classes, on-the-job training, self-paced lessons, and job aids. Thomas & Hutton is an approved continuing professional competency provider in the states where we work; enabling our employees to receive professional development credits towards their licensure.
Third Thursdays is an appointment you can consistently find on our calendar. We gather once a month to explore new skills, industry trends, and company-wide achievements. This gives an opportunity for collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments and within the various regions where we work. The topics vary monthly in style and scope, sharing a single goal of keeping connected as ONE Company.
Thomas & Hutton is in the business of creating frameworks that allow communities to thrive. Our dedication to community service reflects that. We devote time and resources by giving back through volunteer activities and charitable donations. T&H Helping Hands is our internal monthly service program where we donate “sweat hours” to local nonprofits. Every Friday, Thomas & Hutton hosts “Jeans Day ” where donations are made to a local cause or non-profit near to the hearts of our employees in exchange for dressing down. Many of our employees are actively involved with non-profit organizations, and causes valued by our employees are a priority in our service efforts.
