Die Reihenh\u00e4user f\u00fcr Arbeiter sind die ersten ihrer Art in Mount Pleasant und wurden ausschlie\u00dflich f\u00fcr die &#8222;unentbehrlichen Arbeitskr\u00e4fte&#8220; gebaut, die die Stadt am Laufen halten &#8211; Lehrer, Mitarbeiter des Gesundheitswesens, Polizisten, Feuerwehrleute, Restaurant- und Einzelhandelsmitarbeiter.<\/p>\n<p>Die Stadth\u00e4user mit Preisen ab Mitte 200.000 $ verf\u00fcgen \u00fcber drei Schlafzimmer, zwei B\u00e4der, eine Designerk\u00fcche und eine Garage f\u00fcr ein Auto. Der Durchschnittspreis f\u00fcr Eigenheime liegt derzeit bei 472.700 $ in Mount Pleasant, was viele Arbeitnehmer der Stadt vergrault. Au\u00dferdem hat eine k\u00fcrzlich durchgef\u00fchrte Studie ergeben, dass 70 % der Arbeitnehmer in der Stadt au\u00dferhalb der Stadt wohnen.
