Ken ist seit 2009 Mitglied der APWA und war 2018 Pr\u00e4sident der Lowcountry Branch. Au\u00dferdem war er in verschiedenen Aussch\u00fcssen auf Branchen- und Sektionsebene t\u00e4tig, unter anderem als Chapter Education Chair von 2018 bis 2020.  <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Die APWA, South Carolina Chapter besteht, um die Menschen, Beh\u00f6rden und Organisationen zu unterst\u00fctzen, die Gemeinden planen, bauen, erhalten und verbessern. In Zusammenarbeit mit der APWA tragen das Chapter und seine Mitglieder durch Bildung, \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit, Schulungen, Konferenzen und Stipendienprogramme zu einer h\u00f6heren und nachhaltigen Lebensqualit\u00e4t bei. In seiner Funktion als Pr\u00e4sident wird Ken die Bem\u00fchungen des Verbandes um die F\u00f6rderung der Aus- und Weiterbildung im Zusammenhang mit der Planung, dem Bau, der Instandhaltung, der Verwaltung und dem Betrieb von \u00f6ffentlichen Bauwerken und Dienstleistungen im gesamten Bundesstaat South Carolina \u00fcberwachen.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ken ist Projektmanager in der Umweltabteilung von Thomas &amp; Hutton in der Region Charleston. Ken ist seit 2004 bei Thomas &amp; Hutton t\u00e4tig und verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber fast 30 Jahre Erfahrung in der Bewertung, Planung und Gestaltung von Umwelt- und Wasserressourcenprojekten, einschlie\u00dflich Regenwasserbewirtschaftung, Wasserverteilungssystemen, Abwassersammel- und -pumpsystemen sowie Trinkwasserbrunnen. Ken ist zugelassener Berufsingenieur und hat einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Bauingenieurwesen vom Georgia Institute of Technology.
