Rogers-Br\u00fccke (Duluth, GA): <\/strong>Ein Meilenstein wurde in diesem Monat erreicht, als der Haupttr\u00e4ger der Rogers-Br\u00fccke \u00fcber den Chattahoochee River installiert wurde. Die einzelnen Elemente des 228 Fu\u00df langen Fachwerks wurden vorgefertigt und innerhalb von zwei Wochen vor Ort montiert. Die 110 Jahre alte Br\u00fccke \u00fcber den Chattahoochee River wurde zu einem Fu\u00dfg\u00e4ngerweg umgestaltet, der den freien Verkehr von Radfahrern und Fu\u00dfg\u00e4ngern von und nach Nord-Fulton County, S\u00fcd-Forsyth County und West-Gwinnett County erm\u00f6glicht. Das T&H-B\u00fcro in Buford \u00fcbernahm das Projektmanagement, die Landvermessung, die Verkehrstechnik, die Hydrologie und Hydraulik, die Koordination der Versorgungseinrichtungen und die Planung der Wasserleitungen f\u00fcr die \u00dcberholung der Br\u00fccke.<\/p>\n

Erweiterung der Kl\u00e4ranlage Smyrna (Smyrna, TN):<\/strong>Sechs Monate verbleiben f\u00fcr die Erweiterung der Kl\u00e4ranlage von Smyrna mit dem Generalunternehmer Judy Construction Company. Die Erweiterung der Kl\u00e4ranlage von 5,85 MGD auf 9,0 MGD mit einem N\u00e4hrstoffentfernungsverfahren mit einem anaeroben Becken, einem neuen f\u00fcnfstufigen Oxidationsbecken, einer Nachbel\u00fcftung, zwei neuen Kl\u00e4rbecken mit einem Durchmesser von 120′, Terti\u00e4rfiltern und einer Zentrifugenentw\u00e4sserung wurde von Thomas & Hutton f\u00fcr die Stadt Smyrna geplant.<\/p>\n

Auch die bestehenden Komponenten werden aufger\u00fcstet, z. B. das Oberwasser mit neuen Sieben, Rohwasserpumpen und VFDs, die bestehenden Oxidationsgr\u00e4ben, die f\u00fcr einen dreistufigen fortschrittlichen Prozess nachger\u00fcstet werden, sowie die UV-Desinfektion.<\/p>\n

Forest Acres Entw\u00e4sserung Phase 2 (<\/strong>Charleston, SC):<\/strong> Phase 2 der Entw\u00e4sserung von Forest Acres in Charleston kommt voran. Verbesserungen an den Entw\u00e4sserungsbecken Forest Acres und 5th Ave in West Ashley, um wiederkehrende Entw\u00e4sserungs- und \u00dcberschwemmungsprobleme zu beseitigen, einschlie\u00dflich schwerer Stra\u00dfen\u00fcberschwemmungen und \u00dcberflutungen von Wohnh\u00e4usern und Unternehmen.<\/p>\n
