Er sprach mit den Studenten \u00fcber die lohnenden und herausfordernden Aspekte einer Karriere im Bauwesen. In seiner Rede vermittelte Kevin, wie man die Leitprinzipien von Thomas &amp; Hutton (Selbst, Menschen, Kunden, Gemeinschaft) im Hinblick auf die Karriere eines Studenten anwenden kann.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n  <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Selbst:<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Sich anstrengen, um zu lernen und am Unterricht teilzunehmen. <\/span> <\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n  <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Menschen: <\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Lernen Sie mit Ihren Klassenkameraden, beteiligen Sie sich aktiv an Gruppenprojekten, helfen Sie Ihren Mitsch\u00fclern und bauen Sie sinnvolle Beziehungen auf. <\/span> <\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Kunden:<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">  Professoren sind Ihre Kunden. Sie sind Ihre beste Ressource, also scheuen Sie sich nicht, auf sie zuzugehen und Ihr Interesse am Erlernen des Fachs zu zeigen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Gemeinschaft:  <\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Engagieren Sie sich in Organisationen an der Universit\u00e4t und in der Gemeinde. Diese Erfahrungen werden Ihnen Wachstum und Perspektiven er\u00f6ffnen, die Sie durch Ihre berufliche Laufbahn tragen werden.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Auf dem Programm stand auch ein Vortrag von Dr. Jesus M. de la Garza, Direktor der Fakult\u00e4t f\u00fcr Bau- und Umweltingenieurwesen und Geowissenschaften, \u00fcber die Geschichte der Schutzhelmzeremonie. Ein \u00e4lterer Sch\u00fcler-Mentor gab ebenfalls Ratschl\u00e4ge und Hinweise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Die Zeremonie endet damit, dass alle Studenten ihre Schutzhelme erhalten und sie gemeinsam aufsetzen, einen Teil der &#8222;Verpflichtung des Ingenieurs&#8220; rezitieren und ihre neu zugewiesenen Mentoren treffen. Wir danken dem Glenn Department of Civil Engineering an der Clemson University, dass Thomas &amp; Hutton die Veranstaltung gesponsert und uns eingeladen hat, an einem so bedeutenden Meilenstein f\u00fcr Clemson-Studenten teilzunehmen.
