El proyecto de Thomas & Hutton, \u00abConnecting the Creek\u00bb fue galardonado por el Consejo Americano de Empresas de Ingenier\u00eda de SC con un Premio a la Excelencia en Ingenier\u00eda en la categor\u00eda de \u00abPeque\u00f1os Proyectos\u00bb en la Gala de Premios a la Excelencia en Ingenier\u00eda de ACEC SC el 4 de febrero de 2020 en Columbia, SC. Connecting the Creek aument\u00f3 el acceso p\u00fablico y el disfrute de la popular zona de Shem Creek en The Town of Mount Pleasant, Carolina del Sur. El proyecto inclu\u00eda el dise\u00f1o y la construcci\u00f3n de un puente peatonal independiente a lo largo de Coleman Blvd. y la creaci\u00f3n de un parque p\u00fablico de destino.<\/p>\n

En la primera foto aparecen Kevin Mitchell, ingeniero municipal de Mount Pleasant (Carolina del Sur), Jen Hayes, directora del departamento de estructuras y de proyectos de T&H, y Sam McCachern, director general de T&H. En la segunda foto aparece Jen Hayes con el panel fotogr\u00e1fico del proyecto que acompa\u00f1aba a la parte escrita de la presentaci\u00f3n del premio.
