“I don’t believe anyone chooses to be a surveyor. I think the profession of surveying chooses the people it needs. I originally went to college to become involved in all aspects of heavy construction. I love the equipment, the power, the reshaping and construction of roads, bridges, and infrastructure. I really just wanted to dig holes with the biggest equipment available. My first job in ‘construction’ was working on a survey crew and that was when I was hooked. I thought it was the coolest job to have and now, years later, I still love it. Thomas & Hutton has the client base, projects, and professionalism that makes this a special place to be and I have been truly blessed.”
