This area is anchored by the existing Piedmont Newton Hospital.  The village area should consider:

 

• Long range reconstruction of a new hospital.

• Improved access points to minimize emergency vehicle and other vehicular points of conflict and safety issues.

• Specifically study the access points onto Highway 278 and encourage traffic out to Hwy 278 via connections to Mill Street.
