Thomas & Hutton (T&H) joined project partners in Chapel Hill on March 27 to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new affordable housing community led by Self-Help Real Estate, with vertical partners CASA, Habitat for Humanity, and Community Home Trust.
The development will bring 33 townhomes and 56 apartments to land owned by the Town of Chapel Hill. T&H supported the project through entitlements and permitting since 2017, helping move it forward through multiple redesigns and funding challenges. It is rewarding to see construction begin on a development that will deliver much-needed housing for the community!
