Thomas & Hutton Welcomes Summer Interns Across the Southeast
Thomas & Hutton (T&H) is proud to welcome its 2026 summer intern class, with students joining offices across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida. As a privately held, 100% employee-owned engineering and professional services firm, T&H is committed to providing meaningful internship opportunities that help students build technical skills, gain real-world experience, and explore careers in the AEC industry.
This summer, interns will work alongside experienced professionals in Civil Engineering, Environmental, Water Resources, Transportation, Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Marketing, and Field Services. Throughout the internship program, they will contribute to active client projects involving land development, infrastructure, stormwater, permitting, planning, site design, surveying, and environmental engineering while learning how multidisciplinary teams collaborate to deliver successful projects for communities across the Southeast.
With interns joining offices in Atlanta, Augusta, Brunswick, Buford, Charleston, Charlotte, Columbia, Durham, Greenville, Myrtle Beach, Nashville, Orlando, Savannah, and Statesboro, the program reflects Thomas & Hutton’s continued investment in developing the next generation of industry professionals. Students work directly with project teams, receive mentorship from experienced employee-owners, and gain valuable insight into consulting engineering and professional services.
At Thomas & Hutton, internships are designed to provide more than technical experience. Interns are encouraged to ask questions, build relationships, and grow professionally in a collaborative environment where learning is part of the culture. By working on meaningful projects that improve communities throughout the Southeast, interns gain a deeper understanding of the profession while building a strong foundation for their future careers.
