16 Mar UGA Capstone Project: The Averly Richmond Hill | Richmond Hill, GA
It’s rewarding to see The Averly Richmond Hill move from a student collaboration to an active, community-shaping development. Last year, our team partnered with University of Georgia College of Engineering Capstone students to support planning efforts for this mixed-use multifamily project in Richmond Hill, providing hands-on civil engineering experience tied to a real-world site.
Now underway, the $60 million development by ECI Group will deliver 291 residential units, including one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and 48 three-bedroom townhomes with two-car garages. Planned amenities include an 8,400-square-foot clubhouse with a fitness center, co-working spaces, courtyards, and outdoor features like a dog park. Located near the intersection of Highway 17 and Ford Avenue, the project is designed to support higher-density residential living while complementing future commercial space intended to serve the growing Richmond Hill community.
We’re proud of the role our team and the UGA Capstone students played early on and excited to see this project continue to take shape!
