This new Fulfillment center brought over 1,000 jobs to Chatham County and is allowing packages to get to your door quicker than ever!
Thomas & Hutton assisted SEDA and Seefried Industrial Properties, Inc. with the initial site selection process for the 100’ tall / 4-story fulfillment center, which includes a total of 2.6M sf within the 640,000 sf building footprint. We then provided civil & landscape architecture design, surveying, permitting, and construction services for the 73-acre development, along with the 1.8 miles of public road needed to serve the site.
SEDA helped put Seefried/Amazon on the site. Â GA Ports originally owned the property and worked with SEDA to locate/sell the property. Â They also helped approve site plans for the Amazon facility before the property changed ownership.
