Scout Motors Facility Announces New Construction Milestone

We’re so appreciative of our partnership with Richland County and South Carolina on the new Scout Motors facility. Scout recently announced its construction milestone, erecting the first steel support beams on the $2 billion Blythewood plant. Plans are in place to have the building exteriors complete by 2024, with interior machinery and other equipment to be brought in by 2025. This development is estimated to bring over 4,000 jobs to the Blythewood area and is on schedule for the new Scout vehicles to start production by 2026.
