The 19th Annual Area Development Gold and Silver Shovel Awards dig deep and celebrate the most groundbreaking achievements in area development. These awards recognize states for their achievements in attracting high-value investment projects that will create a significant number of jobs in their communities.
South Carolina was honored with the Platinum Shovel Award for the 5 to 8 million category. Georgia earned the Gold Shovel Award for the 8 to 12 million category, while North Carolina (8 to 12 million) and Tennessee (5 to 8 million) both received Silver Shovel Awards.
