10 Sep Site Visit to Scout Motors Development in Blythewood, SC

It’s always fun getting out and about to visit one of our sites! Environmental Designers Brad Russell and Clay Rives, along with Civil intern AJ Jones, visited the 1,600+ acre Scout Motors Development in Blythewood, SC. Work at the site includes mass grading, utility improvements, stormwater management, and stream relocation.
Plans are in place to have the Scout building exteriors complete by 2024, with interior machinery and other equipment to be brought in by 2025. This development is estimated to bring over 4,000 jobs to the Blythewood area and is on schedule for the new Scout vehicles to start production by 2026.
