T&H Welcomes Six New Shareholders

Thomas & Hutton, a leading professional services firm in consulting, planning, and engineering solutions for land and infrastructure development, is proud to announce the addition of six new shareholders for 2024. This milestone highlights the company’s commitment to growth, leadership development, and fostering a strong foundation for future success.

Hillary Aton, Matthew Frazier, Matthew Roach, Felipe Toledo, John Winters, and Corey Wise have been recognized for their exceptional contributions to Thomas & Hutton. Their leadership and dedication to excellence have been instrumental in the firm’s continued expansion and innovation.

Hillary Aton, a Water Resources Project Manager based in Charleston, SC, has been with the firm since 2015. A Professional Engineer, Hillary holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Clemson University and a bachelor’s from The Citadel. With over 12 years of experience in water resources, including stormwater drainage and water quality systems, Hillary’s leadership extends beyond the firm, as she serves as President-Elect of APWA’s Lowcountry Branch. Her industry recognition includes Charleston Regional Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty, Engineering News Record’s Top 25 Young Professionals, and a Rising Star in the AEC industry by Civil + Structural Engineer Magazine.

Matthew Frazier, an Environmental Group Leader and Project Manager in Savannah, GA, also joined the firm in 2015. A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s in civil engineering, Matthew has been instrumental in leading projects related to water, wastewater, stormwater, and site development. An alumnus of Leadership Effingham, Matthew brings a decade of experience delivering successful results for both public and private clients.

Matthew Roach, IT Department Manager based in Savannah, has been a part of Thomas & Hutton since 2003. Starting as an intern, Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Georgia Tech and now leads the firm’s IT strategy. His role in the community includes heading up the Healthy Kids Running Series and contributing to Thomas & Hutton’s AI Strategy Task Force.

Felipe Toledo, a Civil Project Manager in Savannah, has been with Thomas & Hutton since 2016. Felipe holds a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the Universidad de las Andes in Chile and is a graduate of Leadership Savannah. A Professional Engineer with over 14 years of experience, Felipe specializes in site development and civil design for industrial parks, manufacturing facilities, and commercial developments.

John Winters, a Professional Landscape Architect, leads the firm’s Landscape Architecture Group in Charleston, SC. Joining in 2015, John holds a bachelor’s in landscape architecture from Mississippi State University. With 18 years of experience, John’s work spans land planning and design across diverse geographies, from the Carolina coast to Asia. John was also recognized as a Rising Star in the AEC industry by Civil + Structural Engineer Magazine.

Corey Wise, a Civil Project Manager in Columbia, SC, joined the firm in 2016 after earning a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of South Carolina. A Professional Engineer, Corey has nine years of experience in site engineering, with a focus on industrial and commercial developments.
