02 Jul Matt Kiker, PE: ACEC/NC Junior Board of Directors for the 2025-27 Term
Congratulations to Matthew Kiker, PE on being selected to serve on the ACEC/NC Junior Board of Directors for the 2025 to 2027 term!
Matt has built an impressive career rooted in both technical expertise and strong leadership. He started as a designer and helped grow Thomas & Hutton’s Charlotte Civil Department from one person into an 18-person team. Under his leadership, revenue has increased by more than 300%. Today, he leads the department, is one of the youngest shareholders at T&H, and was recently selected as a Charlotte Business Journal 40 Under 40 Honoree.
Matt has led the design of over 11 million square feet of industrial space, thousands of acres of residential development, and impactful community projects like the Charlotte I-277 Rail Trail Bridge. He’s also deeply committed to mentoring young engineers and giving back to the profession — he was recently honored as ACEC/NC’s Young Engineer of the Year.
We’re proud to see Matt take on this new leadership role and know he’ll bring great energy and ideas to the Junior Board.
