SC APWA Lowcountry Branch Meeting and Awards Presentation

We are proud to celebrate alongside our clients—the City of Isle of Palms and the City of Charleston—as two of our projects were honored at the 2025 SC APWA Lowcountry Branch Meeting and Awards Presentation in the following categories:

Project of the Year – Small Cities / Rural Communities
41st Avenue Drainage Improvements Project – City of Isle of Palms
📸 Hillary Aton, PE (T&H) and Chuck Layton (The Bastion Group, LLC)

Project of the Year – $5M to <$25M
Forest Acres Phase II Drainage Improvements Project – City of Charleston
📸 Hillary Aton (T&H), Matthew Fountain (City of Charleston), Patterson Farmer, PE & Jerry Martin (Gulf Stream Construction), Steve Kirk (City of Charleston)

These local honors follow the state-level awards received for the same projects earlier this summer at the APWA South Carolina State Conference and underscore the City of Isle of Palms’ and City of Charleston’s commitment to resilient, sustainable infrastructure that serves their communities.

We are grateful to our clients for entrusting us with these important projects and to our partners for making them a success.
