Since 1988, Beach Sweep / River Sweep has brought together thousands of volunteers to protect South Carolina’s waterways — removing more than 1,300 tons of trash from beaches, rivers, lakes, and creeks. Every year on the third Saturday in September, thousands of citizens roll up their sleeves to protect beaches, rivers, lakes, creeks, and wetlands.
This year, Thomas & Hutton teamed up with the Town of Mount Pleasant for the Shem Creek Park Clean Up as part of this powerful statewide tradition. Big thanks to Maria Valenzuela, Jason Hutchinson, Brandon Perkins, Hillary Aton, PE, and Peyton Stokes for representing T&H and helping keep our coastal resources clean and beautiful. 💙
