Thomas & Hutton provided design, permitting, utility coordination, bidding, and construction observation of the relocation of an existing City of Savannah 48-inch Industrial & Domestic (I&D) water main in conflict with the proposed Jimmy DeLoach Connector project. The project included the design of concrete thrust restraint structures, micropiles, 48-inch line stops, and 48-inch tapping sleeves to facilitate the relocation of the main with no interruption in service. Thomas & Hutton coordinated with Georgia Power, GA Department of Transportation, and City of Savannah.
