Thomas &  Hutton provided Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) activities for various solar farm locations in South Carolina.  The subject sites included the following locations:

• Aiken – Shaw Creek (950 acres)
• Clarendon County (1,000 acres)
• Jasper County – Gillisonville (1,000 acres)
• Newberry County (750 acres)
• Ridgeland (70 acres)
• Sumter – Spencer (112 acres)

The Phase I ESA were conducted in accordance with ASTM Standard E1527-13. The majority of the sites were undeveloped and were previously utilized for agricultural or sivicultural purposes. The Phase I ESA was conducted to identify, to the extent feasible, recognized environmental conditions associated with the subject properties.
