The 8.4-acre Hilton Head Port Royal Resort received unanimous, initial approval by the Hilton Head Island Design Review Board last week. The resort is on the site of the Port Royal Racquet Club and will include 148 units across seven buildings, as well as ample outdoor spaces including a resort spa, pool, and children’s tree house.
Thomas & Hutton is providing full civil and landscape architecture services including master planning for the project. Careful study and placement of the proposed buildings and site elements were used to ensure the preservation of existing trees and vegetation.
