10 Apr Kevin Smith Named Board Chair for YMCA of Coastal GA – West Chatham Branch!
Congratulations to Principal, Kevin Smith on being selected as Board Chair for the YMCA of Coastal GA – West Chatham Branch Board of Directors. The selection was made at 164th Annual Meeting of Coastal Georgia YMCA! Kevin has served on the BOD since 2016 and was honored as Branch Volunteer of the Year in 2016 by the YMCA of Coastal Georgia. Kevin looks forward to the position and the challenge of helping with the capital fundraising campaign required to expand the West Chatham YMCA to better serve the community. Annually, the WC YMCA BODs campaign to raise funds that are directly reinvested back into the West Chatham County community. This ensures the viability of programs such as Y Readers, LIVESTRONG, and scholarships that provide equal access for all to the Y’s programming. Way to go, Kevin!
