20 May Welcoming Our Charleston Summer Interns
Thomas & Hutton (T&H) is pleased to introduce our five summer interns joining us in our Charleston office for the 2019 summer semester.
Matt Key is a rising senior at Clemson University and is majoring in Environmental Engineering with a minor in sustainability. Matt is returning for his second internship with the Environmental Department in Charleston and looks forward to continuing gaining experience in the office and the field.
Brandon Perkins is a rising junior at Clemson University pursuing a degree in Biosystems Engineering and minoring in Environmental Science and Policy. Brandon’s previous experience includes undergraduate research in algal identification and the creation of algal products. Brandon cites this as inciting his passion for environmental conservation. Brandon is interning with the Water Resources Department in Charleston.
Will Ussery is a rising senior at Clemson University pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. He is interning with the Civil Department in Charleston. Will’s previous experience includes a structural engineering internship as well as an intern/field technician position in geotechnical/environmental engineering and materials testing position. Will is looking forward to learning more about the site design process during his time at Thomas & Hutton.
John Jordan is a rising junior at Clemson University pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. He is interning with the Civil Department in Charleston. This is John’s first engineering internship and is eager to apply and grow his knowledge on real world projects.
Samantha Martin (not pictured) earned her B.A. in Historic Preservation & Community Planning and is currently pursuing her M.A. in Community Planning, Policy, & Design from The College of Charleston. She is interning with the Landscape Architecture Department in Charleston.
