06 Jun T&H Welcomes New Environmental and Natural Gas Project Manager
Jennifer Gissendanner, PE joined Thomas & Hutton’s Environmental Department as a Project Manager in their Columbia office. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering from Clemson University and her Master of Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. She brings over 19 years of project management and multi-disciplinary engineering experience, eight of which she spent managing and consulting major gas and energy projects including new gas pipeline installation, pipeline replacement, overpressure protection, meter/regulator station design, and compressor station design. Jennifer has managed the planning, design, and construction of high-profile, multi-million-dollar transmission pipeline projects with budget amounts between $10 and $25 million. Jennifer’s professional background also includes land development and water resources engineering experience. Thomas & Hutton is excited to have Jennifer on board to assist their efforts to continue to expand natural gas services across the southeast region.
Jennifer is active in the Southern Gas Association (SGA) and currently serves as the Chapter Advisor for the Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta at the University of South Carolina, providing guidance and support to a group of over 300 collegiate women. Jennifer lives in Cayce, SC with her husband Matt and two young sons. She enjoys sewing, knitting, reading, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers and Atlanta Braves in her spare time.
