Savannah City Council Grants Savannah Gardens Contract Extension

Tuesday, the Savannah City Council voted unanimously to award Thomas & Hutton a contract extension to complete the final phase of Savannah Gardens. The final phase will include infrastructure to support the restoration of Wyoming Street that will accommodate 17 Low Income Housing Tax Credit funded single family lots. Additionally, streetscape improvements along Gwinnet Street including sidewalks, pedestrian-friendly elements, landscaping, and hardscapes will be incorporated into the design work to help establish a sense of place and enhance the entrance to the East Savannah corridor. http://agenda.savannahga.gov/…/july-2-2019-ci…/165_3830.html
