27 Sep T&H Environmental Group Lends a Hand at IOPWSC

T&H’s Charleston Environmental Group had the exceptional opportunity to assist the Isle of Palms Water & Sewer Commission (IOPWSC) Field Operations Staff with the replacement of reverse osmosis membranes in the IOPWSC Water Plant. The membranes desalinate and purify water obtained from groundwater supply wells on the island, creating high quality drinking water. These membranes are changed out once every 8 to 10 years, making this event a rare opportunity! Participating in this effort was extra special for us as it includes a piece of T&H history, our own Mark Yodice designed the facility back in the early 1990s. We had the pleasure of working side by side with the folks from IOPWSC completing the change out in record time.
