14 Oct Highway CID 278 Announces Plans for First Phase of Improvements

The Newton County Office of Economic Development Highway 278 Community Improvement District (CID) board of directors shared plans for the District’s first phase at their October 10th board meeting. The first phase is planed to be grant-funded and approximately 5,000 feet with a sidewalk to the south, multi-use train to the north, and landscaping and LED lights from Exit 90 to Emory Street. T&H is providing master planning, transportation planning, and landscape architecture services for the corridor designed to boost economic activity through an environment of improved and equitable transportation.
