An effort lead by the Lowcountry Land Trust to protect Boone Hall Plantation from development is an official success! The property’s owners have placed it in a conservation easement that limits land use changes in the center of the rapidly growing East Cooper area. The generosity of the family will be felt for generations to come through the property’s rich cultural, historic, and environmental ties. T&H is proud to have worked with Charleston County and The Town of Mount Pleasant on this exercise in stewardship that balances how the region grows and preserves its history and nature.
