42 workforce housing units made up of one- and two-bedroom condominiums have been unanimously approved by the Town of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina’s Planning Commission. The units will range between $212,000 to $285,000, well under the median new-home cost of $500,000 in the area. The new, low-cost housing will allow folks such as health care workers, teachers, first responders, as well as seniors and young families to live within Mount Pleasant affordably.
