05 Feb Connecting the Creek Wins Engineering Excellence Award
Thomas & Hutton project, “Connecting the Creek” was honored by the American Council of Engineering Companies of SC with an Engineering Excellence Award in the “Small Projects” Category at the ACEC SC Engineering Excellence Awards Gala on February 4th, 2020 in Columbia, SC. Connecting the Creek increased public access and enjoyment of the popular Shem Creek area in The Town of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The project included the design and construction of an independent pedestrian bridge along Coleman Blvd. and the creation of a public park destination.
