T&H Helping Hands Packing Food Boxes for COVID-19 Response

A huge thank you to TJ Behm, Gene Chervenak, Spencer Johnson, Tom Pace, and Brittany Slattery for participating in our T&H Helping Hands event with America’s Second Harvest on Wednesday, April 1st in Savannah. Thomas & Hutton CFO, Tom Pace is the Board Co-Chair for  America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia and organized the packing event. Our group packed 819 boxes (16,380 pounds of 13,650 meals) for America’s Second Harvest’s drive-thru food distribution for families in need during the COVID-19 crisis. Stations were set up to assure that T&H volunteers and warehouse staff maintained 6 feet of distance from one another at all times, sanitation measures are also in place. The food distributions have been incredibly successful, over 1,000 families were served at the drive-thru event held last week. Thank you to the folks at America’s Second Harvest for taking everyone’s health and safety very seriously while responding to the community’s desperate needs during this time.
