T&H Midnight Riders Complete Another Christmas Commandos Mission

A big shout out to the T&H Midnight Riders: Destiny Bendell, Brian and McKinley Durham, and Jared and Mariah Williamson who spent Christmas Eve (and early Christmas morning) delivering gifts with Christmas Commandos. Christmas Commandos works with guidance counselors, Hospice care, churches, and other organizations in Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester Counties to collect and distribute Christmas gifts for children who have lost one or both parents during the year. Under the cover of darkness on Christmas Eve, Commandos complete “drops” by leaving gifts on porches, hung on trees, or other places where the gifts can easily be seen on Christmas morning! Our Charleston office provided additional support by purchasing gifts for 20 children from the Christmas Commandos “Angel Tree” prior to Christmas Eve.
Thank you again to all those who brought in gifts and the Midnight Riders for sacrificing part of their holiday to support local children who face the unimaginable circumstance of spending their first Christmas without one or both of their parents. Our team met at Christmas Commando headquarters at 11:30pm on Christmas Eve and finished the last drop at about 3am Christmas morning.
