GSU Engineering and Research Building Ribbon Cutting

GSU Engineering and Research Building Ribbon Cutting

Eagle engineers have a new place to land at the Georgia Southern College of Engineering & Computing’s Engineering and Research Building on Georgia Southern University’s Statesboro campus. T&H provided civil engineering (surveying, site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater management, water and sewer utilities, and vehicular access) and landscape architecture design (pedestrian paths, student gathering areas, event lawn, site furniture, planting, and irrigation) as a subconsultant to Stevens & Wilkinson for the 140,625-square-foot facility, which will house the College’s manufacturing engineering program and provide research space for mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering students.
Thank you to our partners at JE Dunn Construction, Terracon, BDR, and Dulohery Weeks for being incredible teammates. We look forward to the continued success of Georgia Southern Engineering students as they learn and develop their skills in the new Engineering and Research Building!
Check out an article and video of the ribbon-cutting (featuring a special guest) on Fox 28 Savannah and an article in the Statesboro Herald for more information!
