Construction Ends On First Portside Distribution Building

Construction is complete on the first of two buildings at the Portside Distribution Center in Summerville, South Carolina. The 189,500-square-foot building was completed by Frampton Construction and is suitable for a number of industries calling the Charleston Distribution Corridor home, including logistics, aerospace and automotive suppliers, defense contractors, light manufacturers, and last-mile distribution. Thomas & Hutton provided site, civil, and landscape design services for the 31-acre development along with architect, McMillan Pazdan Smith on the Frampton Construction team. Upon completion, the two buildings will total nearly 400,000-square-feet of Class A industrial space along I-26.
