The Development Authority of Bryan County has purchased 195-acres in the Belfast Commerce Park. Thomas & Hutton provided master planning, infrastructure design, graphics, and general engineering consulting services for Raydient Places + Properties, developer of the parcel purchased by the Development Authority. In addition to a strategic location near another T&H project, the I-95/Belfast Keller Interchange, the Belfast Commerce Park promises tax benefits to potential tenants. Belfast is located within a Military Zone due to its closeness to US Army Fort Stewart. This could result in a tax credit for companies of $3,500 a year for five years for each job that meets certain standards. The property is serviced by rail and provides convenient access to the Port of Savannah for manufacturing enterprises looking to locate in the area.
