T&H Projects In The News: Wayfair and Amazon

​​Incentives have made the difference in motivating top manufacturers to locate in Georgia, beating out competition from other southern states. These developments provide jobs and serve as investment incubators, often creating spinoff projects, and additional economic development activity.
Thomas & Hutton provided site certification, master planning, and infrastructure design for the development of White Oak Business Park, the location of an Amazon fulfillment center. The 1,300-acre Savannah River International Trade Park is home to a Wayfair warehouse. Thomas & Hutton provided civil engineering consulting services for surveying, planning, and design for all sites in the Trade Park as well as due diligence and coordination between the sellers and prospective buyers of the individual sites.

Both the Amazon.com facility in Columbia County, GA and Wayfair in Port Wentworth, GA were mentioned in a Savannah Morning News article reviewing economic development trends in the state.
