30 Sep Town of Ravenel Provides Initial Approval for Annexation

The Town of Ravenel in Charleston County, SC is one step closer to annexing nearly 3,000 additional acres of land following a unanimous vote of 7-0 by the Town Council this week. Thomas & Hutton is working with the landowner, providing rezoning, plats, and a traffic study for a portion of the land that is slated to become a planned development (PD). The 400 acres of land are limited to 400 homes and a commercial center. It will consist of four parks, sidewalks, street trees, and a trail system linking the proposed neighborhood to the adjacent school.
