The I-16 Mega-Site is set to transform the economy of Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham, and Effingham Counties. The purchase by the State of Georgia and the Savannah Harbor-Interstate 16 Corridor Joint Development Authority will pave the way for a single, large industry to create thousands of jobs and benefit all four counties.
In addition to economic benefits, the site will provide the greater region with a new wastewater conveyance system and water supply and transmission system, as well as a new water reclamation facility. These regional improvements will lessen the region’s dependence on groundwater and kick-start development in areas lacking adequate infrastructure.
T&H is providing survey, civil, and wetland permitting for the initial development of the ±2,284-acre site.
