Check out the updated renderings shared at Wednesday’s City of Charlotte public meeting on the I-277 Rail Trail Bridge! The pedestrian bridge will cross I-277 in Center City, providing a critical link for pedestrians and cyclists between the Uptown and South End neighborhoods, and opening up over 40 miles of bikeways into the center city. Design features include double arches that reach up to 40 feet in height. T&H is providing civil design on the project, construction is expected to begin in spring of 2023!
