02 Mar JA Discovery Center Savannah Grand Opening
Representatives from T&H had great time at the ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony for the Junior Achievement of Georgia’s Colonial Group, Inc. Discovery Center of Savannah earlier this month on Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus. The Discovery Center will host middle school students from across the Coastal Empire. They will learn valuable life skills like personal finance and how to manage a business from Junior Achievement volunteers.
T&H was a proud community partner, providing civil design and permitting services for the redevelopment of an existing Georgia Southern building for the Discovery Center. T&H sponsored a “storefront” where students have the opportunity to simulate real-world business transactions during their visit. A big congratulations to everyone at T&H involved on making this project a reality.
