11 Mar Best Wishes On Retirement: Mike Barefoot
Thomas & Hutton would like to recognize the retirement of Mike Barefoot who hung up his boots this January, concluding a nearly 40-year career with Thomas & Hutton.
After joining T&H in 1982 as a survey crew member, Mike Barefoot retired as a Survey Party Chief from the Savannah Survey Department in January. Mike has been an integral part of the Savannah Survey Group for four decades and leaves us not only as our Senior Crew Chief but also as the longest current employee in the survey department and one of the longest in the company.
Throughout his career, Mike was known as the best trainer for any new field personnel that joined Thomas & Hutton. He was proficient in a variety of equipment and well experienced in working in a multitude of environments. The Thomas & Hutton family is delighted to watch Mike enter the next chapter of his life. His presence will be truly missed and on behalf of the entire staff, we thank Mike for his 40 years of service and his contributions at Thomas & Hutton.
