This year Habitat for Humanity Savannah teamed up with NAWIC Coastal Georgia #380 for a 2-week “women build” with planned builds at their current Habitat House. The 2-week affair also included educational and networking events, including a “Wine Down Wednesday” last week featuring a panel of women in leadership roles in our community and industry.
T&H Water Resources Project Manager and Habitat Board Member, Jennifer Roach, PE, CFM served as a panelist. The panel discussed experiences within their respective industries with lots of inspirational dialogue on breaking the glass ceiling and navigating a career as a woman in a male-dominated field. We applaud Jen for her work with Habitat and constant effort to impact positive change in the engineering industry!
