16 Jun T&H’s Newest South Carolina PE – Mitchell Scott
Thomas & Hutton (T&H) is pleased to announce its newest Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of South Carolina. Civil Designer, Mitchell Scott passed the Principles and Practices of Engineering Civil exam with the Water Resources and Environmental depth examination and has satisfied the experience requirement needed to become a PE.
Mitchell Scott joined Thomas & Hutton’s Charleston Civil Department in 2021. He is a Mount Pleasant, South Carolina native and graduate of The Citadel where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in civil and environmental engineering. Prior to joining Thomas & Hutton, Mitchell worked as a project engineer for Earthsource Engineering. Mitchell is a well-rounded civil designer; working on the civil team, he prepares site development construction drawings, engineering design considerations for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure, and permit applications associated with residential and commercial projects.
Mitchell is currently working on several notable projects throughout the Charleston region including Blue House Park and Pin Oaks, two 500+ lot single-family communities associated with the master planning of Summers Corner in Dorchester County, SC. He has also assisted with the design of commercial outparcels and 330+ single-family lots in the Shewameker development in Summerville, SC.
