Laurens County VA and Voter Registration Grand Opening

​Infusing new life into a vacant Winn Dixie property, Thomas & Hutton provided construction management services for the demolition of 53,000 square feet to shell and the upfit of 11,800 square feet of the facility into a new Veterans Affairs and Voter Registration facility for Laurens County, SC.

This first phase of work, initiated in the fall of 2021, met the County’s ambitious deadline for the Voter’s Registration office to open ahead of the May 2022 early voting window. Last week we celebrated the completion of the project with our client, Laurens County Development Corporation, and team partners Hogan Construction Group and architect Craig Gaulden Davis. T&H is proud to be a part of this project, providing prime accessibility to vital public services for all in the County.
