The Charleston Regional Business Journal selected James Thomas, PE, Principal and Civil Project Manager at Thomas & Hutton, as a 2022 Forty Under 40. The program honors top young business professionals across the Charleston region who excel in their chosen profession and provide service to their community. James began his career at Thomas & Hutton in 2017 and was named a principal in 2021. A licensed South Carolina professional engineer and a civil engineering graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, James is an alumnus of Leadership Charleston and serves as an advisor to the Charleston Intern Network.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Forty Under 40, honoring elite individuals who demonstrate professional excellence, lead community efforts for positive change, and make an impact far beyond the Forty Under 40 honor. James celebrated alongside his Forty Under 40 contemporaries, family, and colleagues at a cocktail reception at the Galliard Center on September 15th.
