Shout out to the all-star team of Ashley Sullivan, Brittany Slattery, Cassie Casteel, and Sam Dodd participated in Andrea B. Williams Elementary School’s first-ever STEAM Night last week in Savannah. We lead the students in a T&H classic, the gumdrop tower challenge! Each student gets a Styrofoam plate, ten gumdrops, and twenty toothpicks to build the tallest tower possible. The activity introduces students to engineering principles of load distribution and building structures in a fun, age-appropriate manner!
